A recipe is likened to a personal expression of poetry/prose... When shared with others, it extends a part of our innermost being... For others to enjoy for years to come, not short lived like a rose. A recipe takes on our individuality and culinary expression, talent and skill... Brings to mind the likes/dislikes of family and friends, memories of special gatherings... Sharing a part of ourselves with others, making memories, spanning time our "appetites" they fill. As I walk, let me walk close to THEE....
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee...
*****
Human nature causes us to stumble, & in many situations, we tend to err from the path. Lord, help me to walk in the Light...
1 John 1: 9
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
*****
Trusting you, Lord, acknowledging that You are all knowing...direct my paths
In Your Righteousness.
Proverbs 3: 5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
*****
Help me to walk in love; to let Your Love & the Love of Christ shine through me.
Ephesians 5: 2
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
*****
Only Your Grace is Sufficient...help me to rely on Your Grace & Your Power.
So, when I falter or stumble along this path...
You Strengthen & Uphold me.
2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I am weak, but THOU art strong...
I am weak, but Thou are strong...
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Over the past couple of months, many have remarked what a strong, good woman that I am. I have known joy & mountaintop experiences over the years.
I have also known heartbreak & traveled through valleys. If it were not for Faith,
Numerous prayer warriors & our gracious Lord...none of these experiences would have been possible to bear or rejoice in.
Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
From Day 1: November 18, 2019...God has been with us, He has not left us or forsaken us.
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Surely He is with us & hears our prayers. He has brought us this far & continues
To uphold us with each passing day.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
What a loving God, He is ALWAYS there.
Psalm 95:1-11
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. ...
How could we not praise Him, acknowledge His Love, His Blessings, His Healing
& His knowing our every need before we even ask.
He IS my strength. Thank you, Lord, for your Blessings on us.
